Welcome to my website! My name is Giang, pronounced as [Zhang] ([Jang] works too).

I am a PhD candidate in Applied Economics at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

My research focuses on development economics, specifically on topics in labor, agriculture, and gender. I study (i) how institutions shape women's economic empowerment and (ii) how farming households adapt to changing environments.
